   HOUSE CALLS FOR YOUR PETS!
          TRI-COUNTY MOBILE VET

Appointment Policy

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate  by appointment only. Because we are mobile, most appointments are scheduled in advance, however we do try to allow time each day for established patients to be seen on short term notice if need be. By nature of being mobile, our clinic incurs some unique scheduling challenges.  We cannot always predict traffic and road conditions.  In addition, we try to be sure each patient has been thoroughly examined and treated and all questions answered before moving to our next appointment. Which is why we schedule our appointments in 3 hour time-blocks.  Occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time!

Appointments are scheduled in the following time blocks:  9AM to noon, noon to 3PM, 3-6PM, and after 6PM.  We call when we are in route to your appointment.  Please let the appointment desk know if you have any particular scheduling restraints when calling to make the appointment.

Pets are generally less anxious, although still curious, when coming into our mobile unit for their appointment.  Since animals rely upon their sense of smell, they probably still realize they are seeing the veterinarian.  Anxious pets do better because there is less anxiety travelling to our clinic, our clinic is not moving, and the "waiting" room is empty.  It is extremely important to us that you bring your pet safely into our mobile clinic.  We ask that all dogs be on a leash and cats in a carrier.

We do ask for 48 hours notice of rescheduling or cancellation of appointments.

For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all vaccinations be up to date. Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets. This is one of the reasons we ask you to restrain your pet. We recommend that animals be placed on a leash or in pet carriers before entering the waiting room.

We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash and personal checks.
